Got back from the dealer. Tried to order w/ ACC
I just got back from the dealership. Had my build ready 230i M-sport and I asked if he can add "5DF" since I cannot add the option online. He tried to add the option through the system but said it wouldn't let him (this is Socal btw). I was super bummed and asked for his recommendation. He said "honestly, the ACC is a game changer and if I we're you, I'd wait". He said he'll give me a call next week to get more info. I don't mind waiting a couple months but I'm wondering if this feature will even be available this year...

I don’t know if I would say ACC is a game changer. I personally have not used it in any of the cars I have had it in. But, that being said, my driving distance and local roads differ and don’t really require it. If you are a expressway driver on a regular basis, then it may be something you want.

i was really bummed too, as i've used active cruise control in other cars, and there are some times it's really helpful.. but i know in the end, i'd probably only use cruise control a couple times a year.. so it won't really impact me...
you just have to look at how you'll use the car, and whether or not this feature is a game changer.. for you |

It sucks that you can no longer order ACC. I was fortunate enough to get mine ordered with it, but I ordered mine in early October (used bmw's site and not through a CA). Hopefully they'll reinstate that feature soon, as I personally think it's worth the money
