Glad YOUR post has stayed up. Thought that gorgeous 87 held up well against the Comp, considering the extra pedal and missing horses. And obviously it’s way better looking.

Wish the title of the video would've said G87 M2 manual vs G87 M3 Comp auto. That alone would've made a world of difference.

G87 vs. F87 race was interesting to me. We all made a fuss about the weight of the new M2, and there even in a drag race against a 300 lbs lighter car, with CCBs I might add, and only 10 hp more (same torque), it still comes out ahead. I do not know how different the gearing is, but it sounds and looks better on the G87.

So, all this weight sh*t is out the window, isn't it?

What happens when you throw more power at it. BMW M has publicly stated that it is less expensive for them to dump more power into M vehicles than it is to reduce the weight.
