Am I right in that CF roof is 2600 in US but only 1900 in CAD? Wonder why it's so much higher in US

The Jetta GLI is actually cheaper in Canada in Canadian $$ than it is here in the US. Starts at $32,440 in the US, and $31,895 CAD in Canada. When you convert that Canadian price at today's exchange rate, that's the equivalent of $22,985 US$ - roughly a third cheaper north of the border! That's insane.

Looks like my build would be approx $68,395, a good chunk cheaper than my TTRS was. I'm definitely on board, the price is spot on and quite a nice surprise.

I understand, it's just that odd that the base price and every other option are much more expensive.

Pretty simple, assholes are charging more for popular options. No one should mention anything about what they want, and keep the guessing game going for the manufacturers.

Mine is about 66 but that's assuming I'm forced into carbon roof to avoid moon roof.

My sentiments as well. Hopefully a steel roof is available, even at a minimal expense.

Sucks that its not standard. It was on my M4. not worth the money for 13 lbs weight savings lol.

I believe it's closer to ~16 lbs weight savings. I'd rather spend that $$$ on lowering the car and its entire center of gravity which will not only handle better but also look sweet.
