I have it for the computer, but I've been too busy to play it. It looks fun, like the last one. But I beat the last one in like a week so hopefully it is more in-depth than that.

I think it's alright. I guess I've kinda lost interest in these kind of games.

It looks nice on Xbox 360, the new drift mode is pretty decent, but Underground 2 is still the king of the NFS series IMO.

2 things i like: crew members and the soundtrack
other than that its average

I got bored of whatever that other 360 NFS game is pretty quickly. Not sure I'm going to bother with this one. COD3 and maybe Gears of War are next on the list when have some free time.

Gears of War is totally worth it, I spend way to much time playing it, it looks amazing, and the gameplay is great. It takes a bit of time getting used to cover and the strategy behind it, but once you do, it's awesome.

Do you prefer run and gun, less tactical action (COD 3), or somewhat more strategic, run, take cover, fire, take more cover action (GoW)? I've got both, from a graphics stand-point, Gears of War easily wins hands down. But they are different types of games, so I'd say go with both, Gears first, just for something a little different. Just remember when your staring at 5 angry locust wanting to blast your face off, you need to take cover instead of charge, or you'll be splattered all over the map in a rather gorgeous display of graphical prowess.

I haven't played video games since I had a Super Nintendo in high school. It's all new to me.

As long as it's pretty non stop action and doesn't require *too* much patience to get good at GoW sounds good.

The screenshots I've seen are pretty crazy, I hear the sound is great too.

Okay, I'll pick that one up this week and save COD3 for xmas break.

I picked up GoW this evening... man this game is nuts. It's like COD2 on speed. I just got blown to bits for like the 10th time.

I also picked up the HD DVD player.

I saw the GoW commercial today for hte first time and I assume it was for PS3 just by looking at the graphics. I was shocked to see it was an XBOX game. I'll pick it up soon just to watch it on my DLP tv.

I didn't really find the new autosculpt that amazing, it would've been cool if I could've dragged any part of the custom bumpers, not just predefined areas. Sure it would've had to have limits and would've been a lot more complex to code, but autosculpt cars all look the same IMO. I wasn't that impressed with the rim selection either, thought there could've been more. The rest of the mods were decent, tweaking the performance mods was a nice touch.

I just got my PS3 this morning, husband surprised me! I've played a few games now, Resitance Fall Of Man mostly, and the graphics in Gears of War on 360 look better than most of the parts in Resistance. They're very simliar in terms of graphical prowess, it doesn't blow the Xbox 360 away at all...

I haven't tried live yet... I might have to with this game though, once I get a bit better that is. I created a username, it's tommyrow.
