Remus Muffler/Exhaust
Does anybody have any experience with the Remus PowerSound exhaust/muffler that is on BavAuto.. I have a e90 m-sport 328i, it's CPO so I haven't done too much with it. However, I have made some modifications with the air intake box, I cut out that grey carbon filter (no clue what purpose it posed, I'm sure it had one though lol) and then replaced the stock filter with a K&N filter.. I kinda hear a little difference, I'm guessing it's because there is more air going into the engine.. I'm thinking with more air going in so then there should be more air going out... I'm a full time student but try to work as much as possible too so I'm on a little bit of a budget (800 bucks) - I've heard a lot of people talk about how good eisenmann exhausts are and the BMW performance exhaust also. But I haven't heard too much on the Remus PowerSound. I've got one on order just because I was told that many vendors are out of it and that there is a huge order coming from Germany on a boat (yeah, a boat ) according to BavAuto & Remus (I called them to confirm)..
so my question basically is will this sound good with the modification I made with my air box, what kind of longevity will I get out of it, and does anyone actually have any experience with it?

I have had a Remus sport exhaust on my 328 for almost a month now and I am pretty happy with it. I'm still running a stock intake, my next mod is a euro airbox.
The exhaust is definitely louder and and better sounding than the stock. I can definitely feel a performance increase in the mid to high rpms. I am considering getting a secondary cat or resonator delete to to give it a deeper gargley sound the the BMW pe. Was planning on starting a thread about this with some sound clips.

Do you have the powerSound one?! How much of a difference is the sound in the cabin? Windows up? Windows down?

You can hear the difference windows down and up. Gives a nice tone that euro car should have with no drone at all, definitely the best in this price range IMO. Your intake setup shouldn't change the sound all that much since its still a closed box. Actually I have noticed a decent increase in MPGs too, went two weeks without a fill up after I installed it.
