Light scuffs on shadowline black plastic

What's a suitable product and technique for removing these light scuffs? Something like Meguiar's PlastX?

Orbital polisher, some 205 meguairs polish, and a fine polishing pad will remove that spot it less then 5mins. Great investment and will last forever, mine is 10 years old still working. Did a few full polishes on multiple cars over the years with it. Now I just use it whenever there is scratch.

I would try using Meguiars Ultimate Compound by hand. It's worked quite well for me for most things.

This. IMO a dual action polisher is mandatory when owning vehicles of this caliber. You can get a nice bauer DA at harbor freight for $80(less with coupons) and that machine is capable of taking care of almost every scratch you will ever encounter. A few pads and some polish and you're good to go.

I typically polish the entire car once a year to keep it looking tip top. Ultra fine pad and some sonax perfect finish or Meguiars 205.

I had some small scratches on my performance body kit, went over them with my small detail polisher with some Autofinesse tripple on a woolly pad and they soon disappeared
