Out of interest @Andydubbya is there any chance you can find out what your friend got on his car in terms of tyre sizes/specs please given he had the 180mph unlock. Are they Z rated for example ? I'm trying to establish what's supplied in the UK but can't get any update from the dealer as I'm looking to swap out the cup 2s for something a little less hard core for daily use!

By the way, the team at Williams Stockport say they have two cars available for September, one with the track pack, one which has not had its specs finalised.

How achievable the delivery in September may be I don't know
but may be useful for someone starting from scratch and wanting to avoid
the waiting list time.

All the BMW Star Spec tyres fitted to the G87 are “Y” speed rated to 300km/h (186mph), whether PS4S, PZ4 or Cup 2 240, whether with the 7MM Track Package for the 285km/h (177mph) speed limiter or the standard 250km/h (155mph) one.

Based on the conversations last night re shipping I spotted the Morning Lily arriving from Bremerhaven in to Southampton at 7am this morning. And lo and behold I've moved to 193, arrived at port!

There should be no changes worldwide from those sizes, as the only option difference is for "track tyres" (which so far has only been the Cup 2 Connect 240), but the wheel and tyre sizes stay the same. You should be able to drop into any UK dealer to confirm if they still have their HEA car(s).

ETA: mine’s still at 195

Don’t shoot the messenger, but I think 165 means it’s waiting at the port of exit, ie Veracruz, for a ship.

According to Abdi he says " The current status is Arrival at port or compound, status code is 193"

I've been watching the arrivals via the Southampton port website and then using Shipinfo to see where the ship has come from.

That's what I don't understand, BMW is stating it's on a ship yet others have said differently for 165.

Yep 195 since 1st June but I have read in an i4 forum about cars returning to 193 when they're in the workshop at Southampton so I can only live in hope. Apparently the recall/technical campaign website typically updates overnight so I'll continue to stalk that for signs of life.
