And whilst I appreciate that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, those of us on the thread that were lucky enough to see the pre production models in the flesh can confirm that it's looks even better in real life.

Did everyone see Archie Hamilton video on his M2 order - should of been arriving July now will not be arriving until 2024 due to the carbon seats - if he deletes his carbon seats car will be Sept.😮

For those of us hoping that the Torino is bringing their new car to Europe..... The following site might be useful. Most of the ship tracking sites rely on paid subscriptions to access live satellite updates but shipinfo provides this for free:

Trying to get any info out of the dealers is not easy I’ve emailed a couple asking if they are getting demos ? and if so when - haven’t even had a response. The ones I have rang were also clueless or just so full of BS they just make it up as they go along - new news car is made in Germany according to the muppet I spoke to today
I’m in North East anyone know anything ? will all main dealers get a demo ?

BMW UK HQ have confirmed official UK launch is 17 June. First UK customer cars will be released to customers from 18 June. My car is scheduled for delivery to deal w/c 19 June. Confirmed as currently en-route to Bremerhaven.

They cannot (will not say) say what ship it’s on nor ETA Bremerhaven.

There will be demos available in UK dealers from 18 June.

Chat told me today that my car is definitely not on a boat, but said that delivery for w/c 19/6 “does seem accurate”. Don’t see how it can be, that’s less than a month away… Bored with chasing now, don’t seem to be getting anywhere.

Yep I'm in the (pun intended) same boat. I'm still at 165 despite the Torino arriving and departing Bremerhaven and my delivery date is still w/c 5th June. If only the chat folks could give more details re the shipping.....

My delivery is expected the same week, how do you feel about the car being only a few weeks away from the plate change?

I will most likely wait till 1st Sept to get the new reg, on previous car my nice dealer kept the car for 7 weeks for me so that I could benefit from new reg lol I don’t like fact of having eg 72 reg when car is 2023 year. ( I know this will be 23 v’s 73 )

Annoying non of my local dealers are going to have a demo car argh 😠 I deffo want to test drive this car before my purchase - how can dealers just be supplying customer orders without putting on a demo - looks like I’ll have to travel a distance.

I've just placed my order and been told the car will go into build week 37 with an expected delivery in November 2023.

I've gone for:

M2 Auto
Toronto Red
Cognac Interior
Standard High Gloss Black Wheels

A standard car, but there's not a lot to choose from in the first place and the car is very highly spec'd as it is. I cannot wait!
