one Harley for six months
but had always known how to ride since a kid and rode a handful of times. Had been a big bicycle rider for a long time which definitely helps ride a motorcycle |

Started riding early 80's
1982 Sportster 1983 Super Glide 1984 Softail 1993 Softail 2001 FXR4 Haven't ridden since 2002, to many assholes in cars driving distracted on the road for my liking. Bad back also added to the decision to quit riding. Don't miss it at all.

I've owned likely close to 100 motorcycles over the last 32 years. For about 15 years, my side hustle was to buy bikes that were laid down, wife tells husband to sell, buy new tins and flip for a few thousand bucks profit. I've owned mostly Harley, but started on a yamaha RD350, then an FZ600, to sportster, and for a couple years didn't own a car, just a couple motorcycles. when my wife and I met, I owned 12 Last edited by Joe T; 09-03-2022 at 08:13 AM.. |

I've been riding since I was 5yrs,I'm turning 53 next month. I've owned over 50 bikes,all Suzuki's except for my 1st street bike which was a 1985 Honda Interceptor 500. Have always had more than 2 in the stable at any given time. Started drag racing bikes in the early 90's and hold an NHRA drag racing license though I haven't been to the track in the last few years.
Only two bikes in the garage at the moment as we moved from NY to SC last year and I had to trim the herd a bit. Have a fully built 2005 GSXR-1000 turbo that puts down 300rwhp and a fully built 2000(bought new)Hayabusa turbo that puts down 550rwhp

Coming up on about 11 years now.
Bikes list looks like this, from first bike to latest: 2005 CBR600RR 2006 ZX6RR 2008 CBR1000RR 2011 R6 2016 S1000RR Sold the S1000RR earlier this year and with my first kid being born, likely call it done with street riding. Would like to get something like a R7 in a couple years and go strictly track. We'll see.. |

Few pics to add;
Gen2 Busa which was my daily rider(avatar pic). Had a 1441cc Carpenter engine,put down 240rwhp&130ft/lbs of torque. BST carbon fiber wheels along w a bit of weight reduction. Probably my favorite bike out of all the ones that I've owned. Kept it stock wheelbase but would lower it and ride it to the local dragstrip for Friday night test&tune then raise it back up for Sunday mountain rides with the boys or with my wife. Trapped 162mph in the 1/4mi with my 200lb+ old ass riding. Sadly I sold it before we moved South. Black bike is my '05 turbo 1000,that's my 2nd fave of all time;built it almost 10yrs ago and have had zero issues with it. And lastly the blue Gen1 turbo Busa which is simply overkill but I get bored easily and I always need a project lol

Mine was short. 04-07 with a 2004 R6. After a nasty wreck at the track that left me with Post Concussion Syndrome, my now ex asked me to go back to playing with cars.
By the time I got the bike back together and sold, I didn't have any real interest in backing on one. |
