G8X type horizontal slats. Maybe that's where they're headed with the non-X M models.

Who is your local dealer? Mine is one of the top M dealers in the Midwest and they’re taking orders into next year already on M3’s abs M4’s. They don’t have a single new M in stock. That’s the situation most everywhere. They’d gladly buy the dozens your dealer just has laying around.

The new 2er in general is over-styled

Not sure how this can be any different
Well, over-styled by BMW standards is now a completely different level then what it use to be.

After the M3/M4, LCI X3/X4 and now this, we're truly in a WTF phase for BMW. Can't say I'm enjoying it.

And nothing has changed. I still don't know what those fascias are for exactly. They do have G87 styling influence, but that's about it.

This is going the same way as the G8x release. First the leaks, the denials that it can't be true, and then everything all starts to become reality.

denial
anger
bargaining
depression
acceptance
This will sure be interesting entertainment for the next year plus

Then when the next shoe drops that production is Mexico.

Remember when people said it wasn’t real? I think I’d rather get a g80 at that point. I’ll reserve judgement but this doesn’t look like a favorable design.

They basically said electrification is around the corner let’s throw everything and anything at the wall from a design perspective and see what sticks
