Solar Sensor?
I wonder if the F generation had a solar sensor. Those cars seemed to have terrible temp control compared to the E gen cars. The E's almost never need adjustment. The Fs are all over the place.

Get that dialed in simply and the entire system works as good if not better than older generations

It's a German brochure. It's a no cost option in the US.
This thread is causing nothing but confusion. |

I'm just confused and saddened why US does not get (KGNL)... really wanted that and would have purchased the car. Steering wheel and stick shift boot aside I was so hopeful (KGNL) was an option. I'm a minority know, but that was my only need, I would have deposited today. I imagine the draw of " leather as luxary " is a tethered marketing bullet point in US market. Perhaps fortune will make option available over the production run whe 6MT is still available. Last edited by Frosty; 10-19-2022 at 11:01 AM.. |

Agreed. The cars production has myriad applications of the industy I'm avoiding as a philosophical choice. The boot and steering wheel I've allowed by me on other BWM purchases but overall seat surfaces is something else. I've had talks with head of NA Individual as well and have been saddened even there the " customization " is truly not customization. I understand and respect limitations in any program but there is a portrayed face of the program that says" any materials in our wheelhouse " that is not true. I hit walls with 2022 M4, with willingness for unreasonable markup, on this and stepped away. Last edited by Frosty; 10-19-2022 at 11:17 AM.. |

More choice is more $$. Look at P cars. Infinite choice but the price reflects that. If you go M4 you get more choices beause you are paying more. Makes senses really. If they offered all the choices from the M3/M4 the price would be the same basically.

It looks like for Mexico they'll get Sensatec and alcantara.... I wonder if I can buy one in Mexico and drive it into US and register it......
Wonder if that's possible.... only 1 car and it should be meeting emissions... |
