Also what is the website to add these dealers to the charges ADM list?

Sorry if there already is a thread for this here. I saw one in the M240 forum but these two

**edit I found a spot but let's keep this going for anyone who needs it
BMW of Fort Lauderdale, FL. They don't charge markup on all M cars and only $1,000 on special editions "CS, CSL" etc…

They can add ADM if you don't get MSRP in writing. Hell, they probably can try to add ADM after even so. They next buyer will take it

Have you tried Kuni? Haven’t heard back from them yet. BMW Portland didn’t seem too interested in adding me to the “list”. Swickard BMW in Eugene wanted 30k over

Have not tried Kuni. Waiting to see if Portland will waive it first.

But that’s expensive. You can get that done for half the price.
Beats me. They didn't even explain what the extra cost was in their opening reply until I asked. I decided to pass on them and BMW of Escondido says they will sell at MSRP.

Oregon BMW wants a $10,000 ADM.

EDIT: I asked them to reconsider, and they did the right thing. No ADM. That's good customer service!

For the PNW people, BMW Seattle and BMW Tacoma are not charging an ADM. There is a list though, last I checked BMW Seattle was at 11 and BMW Tacoma at 6

They can add ANYTHING for that matter - I'd get the quote signed off at MSRP, with specific language stating that nothing else is to be added by the dealer - no "desert protection package", no overpriced tint, no VIN etching, etc. Nothing.

I live in Los Angeles, and I called multiple penske owned dealership.

Crevier BMW- a lady said no markup but when I visited the dealership yesterday, they were asking for $20k of premiums

Escondido BMW- no markup, but $600 of accessories are included. I put my name down on waitlist and there are only 3 people in line

San Diego BMW- no markup, but they said they will start taking orders around december. They didn’t seem to take wait list

From experience:
[Dealership Fee] is a markup, complete ripoff.
[Protection Package (for paint and/or parts)] is a markup - usually costs a fraction of what dealerships actually charge you on paper.
[Dealership Added parts/packages] is a markup.
[Dealership Finance] is total rip off - dealerships get a kickback from their partnered financial institutions. Your APR % is usually 1-3% higher than what you are supposed to actually have.

If you see any one of those, just remind yourself that you are about to get ripped off. Don't listen to any other words coming out of their mouth. They can lie to you while looking you in your eyes.

Shop around. You will eventually find one that wants to rip you off the least compared to others.

Have a reasonable expectation so that you don't get upset.

And, never lie to yourself about what you are actually seeing and hearing.

-my 2 cents.

I settled for option two.
But it is stuff that’s actually on the car and BMW floor mats. I’m happier paying a markup for something I’m getting rather than just a straight markup.
I wish BMW did direct order and delivery to PDC

I know, I'm #10 there, SA said they are adding people to the order bank accordingly. I think I'll get my spot later this year (I'm very patient lol)

It's mostly because they charge $0 ADM and they are in the Miami area. Braman WPB/JUP charges $10,000 ADM, BMW of Melbourne has a $5,000 ADM, etc…

I commend your patience. I think I jumped the gun on taking Ocala of BMW's offer of being first in line with a $5K ADM, after claiming it was initially $10K. After taxes, fees, and loan interest, it easily puts my spec above $80K. I'll be calling around today and locking in an MSRP offer then try using it as leverage, otherwise, I'll pull my order.

Patience, right?

I deeply disagree with the concept of ADM. The car is new, not a rare/aged classic. If you think about ADM, it's like taking away your budget for options you can spec the car with. (I called end of August)
