When looking at the carbon package, what's the m race track package?

Isn't that the 7ME Driver's Package? The 7MM M Race Track Package is listed separately. I bet it's the track tires set. In the UK configurator it switches to track tires when you add some carbon bits.

Are you guys planning on getting the carbon package? I really want the roof and seats but not really for 10k. I'm probgoing to purchase the car and keep it for awhile. I'm concerned it's going to hurt resale if I don't get the carbon package.. but getting real close to m3 pricing

I believe you will be fine if you were to order the CF roof and interior trim. I do not believe that the carbon buckets are going to make or break you.

I just built a base m3 without buckets for 77k. M2 with buckets is 76k. With alot more color options.

Then add anything other than the base rims (which suck), and carbon buckets and suddenly you're $10k over the m2.

Comparing the most specced out versions of one car with the base version of the "one level better" car is always going to be close in price. But when the same person who gets a fully loaded m2 is never going to buy a stripped down m3.

That's with it basically specd the same as the m2, upgraded wheels, executive, icon lights, red calipers, everything besides the buckets. Which are 4500$. I'm not trying to argue just sucks your pigeon holed Into a ridiculously priced carbon package that it seems might as well go for the m3 at that point.

Note this is a noncomp m3 for the manual option.

Fair, I just don't understand why people are comparing the M2 w/ buckets to the m3 without them. Though I get that it's frustrating it's part of a package. I do wonder who the people are who want the carbon buckets but not the carbon trim and roof, which is similar cost to the carbon package. The M Drivers package is the only thing which is kinda bull to throw together.

Get the car for you...not for the next owner.

I saw when I placed my Spec that it was 3/22 SOP. Does that mean we have to wait more months for the car if we got the CF package

Yes, with SOP being March 2023 the Carbon Package will not enter production until then.

With the CF pack, what's your best guess on how long it will take for delivery ?

If were located in SoCal and production is in Mexico of course.

TIA
