They were supposed to call me today after a scheduled visit to their manufacturer. Never got the call. The communication, or lack there of, has been appalling. I'm contemplating cancelling the order and getting a refund. Its getting beyond ridiculous. Which is too bad because I was contemplating a challenge x-pipe for my M3. After this.... I don't know.

Yea that's pretty weak. Something is definitely up with this exhaust. The original launch was supposed to be like 4 months ago and it just keeps getting pushed back. Maybe good things come to those who wait?

I bet they have the M3 x-pipe in stock. Who knows.

I've been thinking about asking for a refund myself - but I'll hold on for another month of so. I have been waiting since Jan so its been awhile.

Last I spoke they had the exhaust was ready but there was some problems with some misalignment but that was 1 and half week ago. Going to check in with them on friday, to see where things are at.

Damn man, I emailed them a week ago and they said they were expecting a call from their fabricator that day. They were waiting on a v band flange to complete the exhaust.

The guy I had contact info for doesn't work there anymore and someone else was supposed to check on the status for me. But that was a couple days ago. I've never had such horrific customer service and follow up.

It has been "waiting on this" and "wrong size that" for months now. Every time I've managed to get someone on the phone they tell me "we'll call our fabricator to find out whats going on and call you right back". Not once have they called me back.

The wife is telling me to just cancel it and forget about it. It's for her car and she was excited to get it, but she gave up a long time ago.

That is if you can get them on the phone to ask for a refund! I sent an email last week and didn't hear back. I called and the mailbox is full, I just sent a an email through their contact form for a refund hopefully I can get someone.

I cancelled my pre-order on Thursday after they failed to get back to me again. Sent them an email and they got back to me Friday saying they would refund it. Sadly, that was the quickest response I got during the whole process.

I'll revisit getting the Challenge exhaust after they've actually been released and vendors have them in stock. My wife was really looking forward to it.

Once I get my refund I plan to pick up a Borla ATAK Exhaust system instead. I do not plan to go back to challenge, the thing that pissed me off the most was the limited to zero communication.

I've been waiting for like 6 months - not even sure why I even waited that long..

Man that stinks to hear. There's obviously an issue with the catback. I know they are good business people and they make products. Two good things to come out of it: 1) refunds were issued.. 2) they didn't just ship out crap products before they were actually ready.

On a side note - hurry up and get that Atak and post some sound clips! I want to hear what it sounds like with stock dp

Please post some good videos of the Borla. My wife is pretty picky when it comes to exhaust sounds and the Challenge was the only one she liked. I haven't been able to find any clips of it with a stock downpipe.

I agree on the refund and the crap product, what I disagree with is the communication. Simply put I think an email that tells me here is the delay on a weekly bases or bi-weekly bases would have kept me inform and happy. I definitely will do a video on the Borla but won't be ordering until the refund is in hand. I don't plan to change the downpipe due to concern of CE lights. One thing I want to confirm which it looks to be the case is the Borla ATAK being a fully bolt on solution and that it won't require me to cut and weld anything.
