EBC yellow vs blue applications

Hi. Looking for input on yellow vs blue pads. Looking for a more linear brake feel from the M2. Looking for similar initial bite but more linear in pedal feel. Less dust would be great. I tried Isweep 2000 pads and while they are great on dust and easy to clean wheels, I think initial bite is less and I’m concerned about brake fade at HPDE events. Just doing a few per year and don’t want to switch to race pads and back for 2-3 events. I hear good things about the EBC yellows. Wonder if they are about the same as the ISweep 2000. Have stainless lines installed and getting EBC 2 piece rotors front and back. True 2 piece. Not a fan of drilled rotors. I know the blue pads are more track oriented but do you get more rotor wear with them and are they not suitable for daily street use? Thanks.

Yellow is a sport street pad that might withstand autocross or very light track duty. It is not low-dust.

Red is low dust but with less brake torque than Yellow, not for track.

Blue pads are fine for street duty/autocross/track.

I heard they aren't lower dust, but lower than OEM. Is that the case?

They are low dust but it won't go away 100%

If you are referring to the Yellow, it has marginally lower dust than OEM. However, it's not the black sticky type of dust but rather a light to medium brown color that doesn't stick to the wheel. It's a synthetic fiber rather than a semi-metallic OEM compound.

OE pads are mostly NAO now and have had brown dust for years. The black dust and traditional semi-met compound hasn't been used since early F chassis cars.
