I have the Yokohamas on my '25. I ran into a guy today in the Staples parking lot with a '24 G87. His had the Yokohamas. He picked his car up about 6 months ago from the same dealer I got mine from in New London CT.

I thought I had "lost" the tire lottery when I first saw them, because I just trust Michelins. But this other guy had taken his to NJ Motorsports for a track day, and said the Yokohamas were good. I asked if they squealed because that's what the Tire Rack review said, but he said no. He admitted he didn't drive super hard though.

Mine's not even a week old so all I've done is putter around town < 45 mph, but the Yokohamas do seem fairly quiet and responsive. I have a long way to go before making any conclusions though.

I'm sure some feel the same but I prefer Michelin, don't mind Yoko and despise Pirelli. No matter how you slice it it's not a big deal as it's a wear item anyways but I'm hoping for at least Yokohama.

I have Yoko’s on my 2024 Manual G87 that delivered Mid-August

So far they have been surprisingly good. I don’t have any experience with the Michelins on an M car for comparison but they are certainly better than the pirellis. They are quiet enough for daily driving and seem to offer some actual feel through the steering wheel when driving hard which I know for a fact the pirellis do not. Grip wise they are definitely not on par with the Michelins. I can never get power down when I’m doing a launch even when using launch control. I also often spin in 2nd. Wish they were the Michelins but just glad I didn’t get stuck with this terrible pirellis lol.

The Pirelli P-Zero tyres come in many different models across winter, all-season, max performance and track categories. The PZ4* version on the M2 is very close to the Michelin PS4S* tyre in performance, I've driven both on two different M2s on the track back-to-back at an ///M event. Both give very similar levels of grip and handling feel.

Although they aren't the * version on the M2, Tirerack did a comparison test in 2021 of the non-* versions, the PZ4 came out slightly ahead of the PS4S overall with better dry braking and wet cornering grip, the PS4S was slightly better wet braking and dry cornering grip: https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests...y.jsp?ttid=269

I personally feel like they break loose more easily than Michelins but I could just be thinking that because I’ve always driven with Michelins so I’m biased lol

My main issue with pirellis is that in every car I’ve ever driven that has had some sort of pirelli on it, the compound just feels too hard. Not to say that they dont grip well, but for daily driving I just feel that they are noisier and harsher than Michelins. The rubber tech that Michelin is using in the PS4s and the new PS5s is just so far ahead of the rest of the competition. Still not minding these Yokos tho lol
