need advice on exhaust

I've basically narrowed down my options into 2, which one should i go for the m2?

1. Armytrix with decatted downpipe
2. Akrapovic with decat downpipe

Characteristics im looking for is deep tone, loud, and no drone and not raspy.

let me know what you guys think

I'd go armytrix. Sounds way meaner in my opinion.

(Akra video starts around 6min in)

I have Akra, catless...sounds amazing! No drone, and insanely great build quality. Fits perfect. And the valves are great for when you need to be quiet.

Both sound really good, Armytrix is more aggressive.
Have you considered the REMUS exhaust?

REMUS with catted downpipe will give you a deep sound with no rasp or drone

Is remus better than armytrix in terms of tone and loudness

Im not a big fan of high pitched exhausts for daily drivers which is why i prefer the REMUS sound

Ah ok thanks. I thought armytrix was loud and deep. How about eisenmann?

Eisenmann is good but by no means is it loud, it's smooth but not loud at all. Your best options are Akrapovic (my favorite and my current exhaust) or REMUS (I've had it as well). Both loud! But if you want stealth mode with the valves closed, definitely get the Akrapovic, it gets incredibly quiet even with a catless downpipe. REMUS not so much as the exhaust gases don't exactly go through "mufflers" just look at the design.

Also, REMUS kinda droned with a catless downpipe (kinda the reason I got rid of it, I'd recommend a sport cat with it), as does the Eisenmann (insane drone + rattling valve + too pricey, but awesome tips). Akrapovic sounds WONDERFUL with a catless downpipe.

Hit up Mike at X-PH, he'll take care of you!

i was initially choosing between akrapovic and armytrix. I found that akrapovic sounds kinda high pitched in video clips vs armytrix.

Honestly, take the YouTube videos with a grain of salt. In person all of these exhausts sound different. Depends what videos you listen to, one may sound more high pitched than the other (I just listened to a couple of each), plus knowing what the Akra sounds like as I have it, it’s not high pitched. If the armytrix is a solid straight through exhaust it may sound similar to the Akra (although I don’t think you can beat Akra). However, there are much better options than armytrix if you don’t want the Akra.

I can confirm, Akra exhibits NO DRONE when catless, I can’t say the same for other exhausts. It sounds unreal, so good, and the quality is amazing. Perfect fit, and the tips look great!

One thing I found interesting, with a different catless downpipe (smaller overall radius) it actually changed the tone of the exhaust. A little more high pitched/droney. I wasn’t expecting that. I switched back to larger diameter. Are you already catless?

Try going catless first, it’s surprisingly loud, and sounds awesome.

OK narrowed my choices into 3:
1. Armytrix
2. Supersprint
3. IPE

Out of these three which gives the deepest tone and loudest sound. Please take note that I plan to do catless downpipe as well. I don't like my m2 to sound like a civic though

Active Autowerke exhaust makes the M2 sound deep and exotic. Gives it an almost straight 5 / V10 deep howl with turbo spool sounds and deep burbles. Pretty sure comes with a down pipe

I will go with Akrapovic or MPE.
