PPF Installers in SoCal

Hello everyone,

I am highly considering getting front PPF for my G87 when it arrives and have been fishing around for quotes. The best one I've gotten right now was for $2100 for full front PPF which includes everything on the front end (bumper, hood, fenders, headlights, mirrors) and also includes door jambs, luggage area on the trunk, door edges, and door cups. This is using XPEL PPF.

Are there any shops in SoCal that have a better price than this? Please let me know! Thank you

That's about the price for a full front, $1800 to $2200. What Xpel are you quoted for, the ultimate plus or the ultimate plus 10?

I'm not sure which Xpel I was quoted for, but I think I got a good deal from a shop near me:

The shop that gave me the $2100 quote would do front bumper, mirrors, hood, and fenders and throw in headlights, luggage area, door cups, door edges, and door jambs for free.

Another shop I contacted would do all of that, plus put a 5 year ceramic coat on for a total of $2200. They are also an XPEL dealer so I'd assume they'd use the same material as the first shop.

I think I'm going to go with the second option, depending on if the first shop can match it and also lower their price. The second option sounds like a very hard deal to beat though!

It's likely the ultimate plus.

I got the roof PPF with Suntek at Klasswerk. It's a reasonable price and a very good quality workmanship.

I got quoted $2100 for a full front package (full hood, full front fenders, full front bumper, headlights/fog lights, mirrors, luggage area) and $6750 for a full car PPF using XPEL Stealth... since my G87 will coming in the individual Frozen Blue.

I'm seriously considering doing the full car PPF and getting a XPEL Prime XR tint.

Protective Film Solutions in OC. Been at it for 20 years - did my Golf R32 back in the day when it was just the 2 founders. Done several cars for me since. Outstanding at their craft.

Diamond Auto Salon in Westlake Village did my car. Full PPF and window tint, including windshield.

They used XPEL Ultimate Fusion.

I would definitely bring my future cars there.

This is where I dropped off my '24 M2 after taking delivery at Murrieta BMW. It's probably less than a block from the dealer.

I had mine done at polished protection in Signal Hill, CA. They only used Expel for PPF.

That is exactly what I’m going to do with mine. I just got off the phone with Lance and I will take it straight from Murietta to his shop.
