Hi,
Dealer told me that my car was produced and gave me the VIN. When I put the VIN in My BMW app, it says "Delivery underway".
Is there a way to find out more details about the delivery (when/if it left the factory, if it's on the ship, etc) ?

Not possible for european delivery.
Only for US.

I’ve tried to find a way to follow the transport on boat but i’ve not find Any solution.
The dealer can give you the progress in the factory (assembly, paint stage, ecc…) but he doesn’t have the possibility to track the transport to Europe.

Asked today for the production status, and it's 150, so it's not produced yet. Any of you know how long it takes from 150 to leaving the factory for the boat?

Also, can any of you decode the VIN with a decoder ? I am curious if you can decode the VIN before receiving the car.

As of yesterday the VIN works in the decoder, and it shows production date 2023-06-09, so I assume the production is complete.

mine was produced on may 4 .. still sitting in SLP Stat 155... called bmw -they have Transportation logistic problems ( translated .. no trucks or no truckdrivers) in mexico so they can´t ship the cars from plant to harbour....

So from early may till today they did not shipped cars from the plant? I doubt it, maybe your car is expecting some part missing...don't know but it's sounds ridicoulous.
If you try to decode the VIN it appears as it should be?

no parts missing checked it myself in the systems.. all parts installed. no recall

From what I read on the internet, there were a lot of cases with cars stuck in 155, they say it's Quality Control phase: https://g80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1865730

It sucks fot the car to be built (the hardest part of the process) and then being stucked at the factory or in harbour for weeks.

A good friend of mine ordered a M3 on the same day as me (10th of February) and his car was delivered on 20th of May.

The launch in Europe was only allowed to start after June 10, the car had been in for some time but could not be delivered earlier

Hi guys! For those that are interested: tomorrow I’ll pick up my car at the dealer (&#127881 and on Thursday I’ll bring it to a workshop to exclude the OPF sensors (given that I’ll put on a catback exhaust). There are no ready-to-go options as of now, as far as I know. I’ll let you know how the guys figured out to do it 😁

You will use OPF deleters? The only other option is remap, as far as I know.

Most likely, but on Leib Engineering there is no article available yet. Maybe at the workshop the have a better solution, they will read out the ECU.

Delivery today, and immediately put some mods on it, lowering H&R -35mm, 21 inch brushed bronze wheels, exhaust flap control, full open with remote control, rear spoiler, etc.....

The car feels and rides amazingly!
What a journey from reservation to tracking boats 24/7 and then the final day arrived !

Also, for the moment, and with all the post, i’m always unable to track boat and know on which one my car is. If yes have a clear solution, do not hesitate 😩

Hey!
The waiting time is always very upset , but believe me it’s totally worthy!
Mine arrived on “KLINE RORO” try to see schedules on they’re website , the cars are dropped at Veracruz port from factory and then the boat stops at some ports on the US and then comes to Europe (Bremerhaven ) .
