Rock chips peppering the front end of your car aren't a question of if, it's a question of when. And on today's roads they happen almost instantly. If you were to look at the front end of a brand new M car that was PPF'd from day one versus a car that was never protected, the results would be pretty apparent & staggering (in a very short amount of time).

There's a reason why companies like Detailer Domain are around & exist. And there's another reason why many others just don't get it. If we have to explain why rock chips bother us, you've already lost the message in translation. LOL

IMHO, the M2 is so cheap vs my other choices (c8,Emira,718) I’m ppf ing the entire car including the tow for the first time ever. I’ll keep this car 10 years so wth.

Finally some updates.

New car prep / Full Car PPF / Ceramic Coating Wheels/Glass/Interior/PPF

Some key features of Xpel Ultimate Plus

Heat Activated Self-Healing Topcoat
Constructed from an elastomeric polyurethane, ULTIMATE PLUS will self-heal light scratches & swirl marks with a light heat application to the film's surface.

Non-Yellowing
Our proprietary film formulation will not yellow from UV exposure, ensuring protected areas are nearly invisible.

Discoloration & Stain Resistant
Don't worry about specs, spots, or splotches from contaminants. ULTIMATE PLUS is stain resistant & will maintain clarity under the harshest conditions.

Prevents Wear & Tear
Stop rock chips, nicks & scratches in the paint, and keep your vehicle looking as good as the day it rolled off the lot.

Edge Seal Technology
Lifting & delamination are a thing of the past. Our signature Edge Seal Technology ensures film stays stuck & keeps surfaces protected from contaminants.

Love this pics. If I may ask, why did you choose iSweeps for pads?

Looks nice. Only one quick question since you didn't specify. Did you select the 1500 or 2000 iSweep pads... ?

I run them on my X3M and I have seen lower brake dust accumulation without sacrificing performance. So I figured I would run them on the M2.

@ Detailers Domain Yes, I have an X3M too. But which set of iSweep pads did you end up using... ? The 1500 or 2000 pads... ?

The shifter is nice, great build quality. The slop is greatly reduced. The shifting is more precise. The feedback is great. There is however more effort to shift, good and bad. Its a shorter throw, I believe you can adjust it, if I have time I may want a little longer throw. I believe you would have to screw back the ball back to get a little longer throw.
