Had a few vehicles with issue of wheel alignment being out and front tyres running off weird. Had them then adjust it while in the driver seat, never had a problem again.

In the very old days they would put sand bags on driver side of vehicle before adjusting wheel alignment on machine.

I also have a Ford Raptor, measured it, driver side is 15mm higher than passenger side.

You can’t drive with shipping blocks on so you are correct.

Be more concerned with the alignment, most these cars are coming disaligned from factory. Be very thorough about that (check your wheel position when driving straight and any hint of wandering at highway speeds) and take it back for an alignment as soon as possible if needed.
THIS.

I’m glad I’m not crazy. I noticed my steering wheel wasn’t perfectly centered.
Off to the left. Most G87’s are having this problem from factory. Alignment will fix, but ensure the wheel is adjusted through the tie rods as well.

Wanted to follow up in case anyone else was curious about their car. Had the alignment done today. 300 miles on the car. The specs were WAY off from what it should have been and it drives much better now. I encourage anyone questioning it to take it in

I actually ended up having a F’ing block on the driver side. Only to find this out from throwing on new springs. I didn’t even feel the damn thing.

Absolutely. If I never did springs, I would have never found this out.

Holy crap! Do you have a pic to share of that by chance so others know what to look for?

I got this sent to my email from my performance shop letting me know what they found. I swear the dealerships are getting worse and worse at PDI. I specifically made sure to ask my CA if he had them thoroughly inspect the car for blocks. He told me “we have never had an issue with that” LOL ok Mr.

Anyways- no damage was done and my car drives fine since swapping springs. I didn’t even noticed besides being slightly higher on driver side. Blocks are not super compressed which means no damage to shocks. I think I’m good.

Wow, unbelievable. Glad you got this figured out though!
My factory alignment was a mess and had to bring it in twice for the correct fix.

Funny thing is they only left it in the driver side, which means they took out passenger and just said “f it” lol.

I stand corrected and apologize sir! I couldn’t have seen how you were right all along due to no weird feeling in the drive, but here we are.

I'm going to have my alignment looked at all over again too.

Wow, some dealers these days certainly suck ass. Sorry they were out to lunch on the one remaining shipping block like that. That guy should be written up for that. When they can't get some of the simple basics right, that's what really scares me. Even a rookie could practice more quality & thoroughness in his / her work.

Thanks for the update.

That is truly amazing.

And disappointing that a dealer would during PDI miss this block.
