Reminding others, because I had forgotten myself until now, to apply for your $500 rebate from BMW CCA if you are eligible. You must have been a member for 1 year prior to delivery (6 months if you purchased a 3-year membership). You must apply within 60 days of purchase. Free money!

Yes, and as a longtime CCA member, I must say the other benefits aren't bad either (parts discounts!), and the social events are fun. Highly recommended.

Yes, true, though my dealer is no longer giving the parts discount. I've been a member since 2000, and was a member of BMW ACA for 24 years before that!

How much is a membership? Looks like I can still join prior to delivery. I just bought a 2024 X5 and a G87 so I’ll take any kick backs I get find! Lol

$159 for three years (that is the option you need to choose if you want to qualify for rebate in 6 months).

If you buy a BMW just once every 10 years you break even, ignoring any other bennies.

Caveat: it's important that you have joined 6 months prior to TAKING DELIVERY. More precisely, you must be a member for 6 months before the car arrives at the dealer. No exceptions. no back-dating, no retroactives. BMWCCA will not bend on this requirement.

Besides the rebate which is nice in this era of "MSRP+," I really do enjoy the CCA magazine and club meets and such. It's worth it to be a member, IMO.

Sounds like I’m out. I’ll read over the fine print before joining.

Yep! I like to go to the club meets and fun rallies. Did a social CCA event today, in fact. And the magazine is really quite good.

You can submit 1 rebate per year. The X5 is actually worth $1,000, so you should use it on that. I just bought a 2024 X5 50e and 2023 M2 a week apart and submitted mine for the X5. I have done this on many in the past.

This one took significantly longer than my last. I submitted shortly after delivery in April. Previously, it took under a month. There's no predicting how long it will take. My guess is it's timed with quarterly accounting for BMW USA.

I’m happy to be getting one this time at least, the i4 didn’t qualify.

No I am not. Though I registered to take the M2, a friend at work ask me to cover for his on call duty that weekend so he could do something with his family, so I gave my red lot pass to someone else.

I just called and I won’t be eligible on the X5 that was just delivered or the M2 that’s coming. You have to be a member for minimum of 6 months prior to delivery even if you have the 3 year membership. If you have a one year membership you have to be a member for at least 12 months prior to delivery. Bummer! I hadn’t heard anything about BMW CCA prior to this thread but I appreciate y’all sharing the info.

Is there any other incentive or rebates out there? If I'm not mistaken loyalty doesn't apply to M2 and maybe college grad does but lets be honest that's not applying to anyone haha

Despite just renewing in May, I will be two months short. I’m guessing no military discount on M cars.
