MegaChip Mud Flaps - feedback?

Now that these have been out for a bit, can some actual owners please speak in to how well these particular mudflaps have protected (or not) their paint?
While they look super OEM / factory, it doesn't appear they go down any further than the back of the wheel well(s). Most of the CF offerings go down another inch or so. I'd think this would still allows gravel/rocks to sneak up and nail both the underside/side of the car and the lower part/side of rear bumper.

Any feedback? Want to order them, but would love some feedback after a month or two of actual use.

I have 9k mi on my car & I'm running spacers (13F/15R). While I do have ppf on my rockers and the lower portion behind the rear wheels, I haven't seen any marks or stone hits in the ppf on those areas like I have on the front bumper & hood. I don't think that area is that vulnerable. Just my opinion.

I'll be installing them with 12mm spacers x4 next weekend, I'll take a trip down a gravel road and let you know how it sounds compared to normal.

Did you ever install these? Any feedback on them?

Got a set of these, I’m just waiting for a car to fit them on. They do look and feel like quality items tbh.

Looks wise they are the best. Protection wise I’m sure others block out debris more. I’d go with looks / minor protection vs ugly / excellent protection. I haven’t acquired any chips, ect on the rear bumper with them yet. The huge flaps look very STi to me.

Wondering if I should still have the PPF guy put a strip of matte PPF on my lower rear bumper frozen car when I get it. I think that's the area that might still get hit. I really hope the hips are safe as I really don't want to have to PPF those.

I love the look of them but I went with the TLG flaps since they have more coverage.

I thought the TommyL ones sit in too far & hang down too low. I actually drilled new holes to bring them out a bit more & raise them up about 1/2" - 3/4". Looks much better, better protection to the side.

Has anyone with the Megachip guards had problems with the rear brackets? They are 3D printed, and my driver rear was broken when it arrived. Basically just sheared right through one of the printed layers. Megachip replaced it right away (great customer service so far). Yesterday I was hand washing my car and while using my mitt near the passenger guard, I heard the bracket crunch. It is still holding on but it definitely started to split. I have emailed them again but wondering if anyone else has had this happen?

Edit - MegaChip have been extremely responsive, I might have just had a bad batch. They replaced the rear guards for me, great customer service. I haven't had time to install them.

If you ppf the rocker panels the kit also has a piece for the lower rear bumper behind the wheels, at least with Xpel.

Could you take a pic of the ppf behind the rear wheel please.

That looks like a good idea. I'll plan to do that behind the wheels. I had PPF up to the A pillar, but been worrying about the back end and road rash.

I have Xpel Ultimate full front (front fascia, grilles, head lights, front intake openings), full hood, front fenders, side mirrors, A-pillars & front of sunroof, & rocker panels. With my repeat customer/multi-vehicle discount (10%), I paid $2,600. Also make sure your installer has experience with this car, there are a lot of sh!t jobs for which people paid a lot of $ posted on this forum.
