OEM Wheels in Silver
Hi,
As stated in the title, has anyone repainted the OEM wheels of their M2 in Silver/gray ? My BSM G87 is on its way with cognac interior and I am considering to do so… but would love to see an example before pulling the trigger of painting. Thanks ! |

You’re gonna want to change the brake pads if you do. The stock ones put out an insane amount of brake dust, which will really show up on silver wheels.

I see a lot of people on Edelweiss and so on Silver wheel. Have they all change their pads ? I’m getting older (passed 30) and I think that the combinaison BSM/Cognac/Silver would be a 10/10, but not sure how the car looks with the Silver OEM wheels. Let’s see if someone already tried! |

I bit the bullet and painted mine from black to silver. SO much better! Really brings out the design of the 930M wheels…

That looks GREAT! I wish that had been an option from the factory.

Oh wow, that looks great!! My car is also ZB. I'm really tempted to do this now. How much did this cost you and how long did it take?

I’m not trying to be offensive and I’m totally for silver wheels especially on black and blue where I feel gold has been been over played especially over here since Porsche added gold to the paint options feels like every enthusiast car is rocking gold or black wheels.
I could be totally in the minority on this seeing the stock wheels in silver makes me realize how crappy the standard spoke pattern is there’s no symmetry to it. Looks are subjective and if you like em more power too you. Edit: I may have had one too many beers there plenty of symmetry I just don’t like them 🤣 |
