Hand made in Italy | The best exhaust for the G87 M2
I was deciding which exhaust to buy for the past couple months for my G87 M2 and eventually landed on TFL Italy. Long story short, their pricing was not much more than the guys who outsource their manufacturing to China while theirs is entirely made in Italy. Seemed like an absolute no brainer. It's also worth noting that other European made catbacks for the G87 cost 1.5-2x as much (I'm looking at you remus and akra).
Anyways, pricing was awesome because they gave me a nice discount, one that I'm able to share with others as well. They had 2 units available for 30% off + 50% off shipping, someone already bought 1 so there is 1 unit left at this pricing. Once this last unit is sold, pricing goes to 15% off using code "DailyDownshift". They offer a silenced/resonated midpipe version or a non silenced/resonated version, I went with resonated for a cleaner sound but if you want the cheapest option possible then non resonated is the way to go. The exhaust tips are also a really nice frozen black finish that's difficult to describe, you kind of just have to see pictures of it which I'll link below. The welds are nice and clean and the piping overall just looks very high quality. Resonators and back box have some sort of heat shielding on them too which is a nice bonus. I've had a few other exhausts before and I must say this one is the best of the bunch. If you're interested, I highly recommend reaching out to them for exact pricing after the discount is applied, just mention dailydownshift for the discount. You're buying direct from the company rather than through a dealer, that's why they're able to give us a discount. Less people along the way to mark it up and make profit, just takes a little more work to pay them and handle duties. Anyways, here's a bunch of pictures of the catback as well as the 2 videos that I uploaded. The first is an install and quick sound check while the second video is more of a sound compilation to give you a good idea of how it sounds overall.

Congrats OP!
Im not a fan of the setup; the dual midpipe amplifies the sounds i don't like with this car. But it's not my car so my opinion does not matter if you like it, that's all that matters. Aside from that, the TFL exhaust is an excellent product: high-quality finish and spot-on fitment.

Wow, the finish looks on point and the welds are very clean. I like the resonator placement as well. I have a Evolution Racewerks mid pipe I’m considering adding resonators to that are similar to the ones used on your system.

I'm curious, why do you feel the need to add resonators to your setup? Are you looking for a cleaner sound or just less volume?

That's a gorgeous exhaust for sure - love the finish on the tips, too. What a sound, too. I might have to check this one out... The Active Autowerke & Dinan setups are on my radar & now gotta add this one!

I’m contemplating adding resonators to give a cleaner sound. Sound is subjective but I don’t think most unresonated dual mid pipes sound great on the G8x platform.

Any hint of drone? (My F87 with BMW M Perf exhaust drones & I've heard people say it doesn't drone. Yes, yes it does. LOL)

All in price will depend on where they're shipping it + the discount that's available. They charge in euros and right now they have 1 unit left at 30% off and 50% off shipping. Once that's sold, the promo is done and it'll be 15% off with my code.
I'd reach out if you want exact pricing. They'll break it down for ya.

Just wondering about the way this MFR did this sort of 3D 4-axis exhaust piping (see red square) vs the way BMW & the other mfrs do it (circle/arrow). Could some experts or possibly the mfr weigh in? Not asking to be snarky or critical in any way - just seems a curious design method & figuring they did it for a reason. I'm the kind of person that likes taking stuff apart to see how it works is all.
While it still sends the exhaust through the muffler with the valves closed, it looks like it's output from all 4 tips based on where the outlet is placed in the squared photo. Could be what they were after?

Pricing all in should come out to 3580 Euros after 35% off and 50% off shipping using my discount code. Shocking compared to pricing of other exhausts made in Europe..

This is mainly because of the high shipping fees (when shipping a large package internationally), customs, and different pricing for different markets.
