Bimmercode changes and service
Is there any issue with having done standard changes using Bimmercode and having service done? I’m coming up on the 1,200 mile service.

I have a really cool service manager and assistant service manager at my preferred dealer.
They both were once my service advisors. My i4 M50 had gone in for service closed with Eibach springs. They don't blink. I had a E90 335 with Bilstein, BBK, Cobb tuned, spacers, etc and they did all kinds of factory service and warranty work. I think it depends on if your service folks are really enthusiasts and your relationship.

I have various things coded with Bimmercode on both my M vehicles & no issues having regular maintenance or warranty work performed.

Service Advisors or Techs don't care what you do with your car as long as you are not trying to claim any warranty and only then will they try to resist. Techs really only hate warranty work because it pays so little compared to COD jobs. If warranty paid the same, the writers and techs wouldn't object at all and may even welcome it because it's steady good pay. But even when they resist, it is on them to prove that your modification is the cause for the component/system failure. If your brake calipers seize, they cannot say that your program was the cause. Dealer techs really hate working on modified cars though.
