Absolute S*#t show! Official email this morning from BMW that they got all the tracking wrong and that the cars are still at sea! Docking in early July. Looking at almost another month when I was told pick up this Monday!

How did they get it so wrong. I will be extending for the 3rd time on my current car which is well over £1k additional I didn’t need to pay.

Sorry to hear this but not a surprise. I’ve put a rocket under my dealer to get some clarity from BMW Uk.

A few questions. What was your delivery date and what’s your current code status?

I’ve gone from delivery next week to delivery this week (!!!) but still at status 165!

190! The comms from Munich is that there is a mistake in stystem and boats delayed. Basically incorrect updates from 2 boats

My sales guy says no-one knows anything! The chat’s wrong, his screen’s wrong, everyone’s in the dark. He’s going to try to find out more this pm, but I don’t know how if all their info is incorrect.

Seems I pick mine up next week

Logistic manager says it’s at Southampton and due for delivery Wk 26. It’s been brought forward a week which was a nice surprise

However I still think it’s on the Horizon Highway that’s due in on Monday at Southampton

It’s still on 193

What a complete and utter joke. :-(. I'm still at 193 and apparently I haven't cleared customs after all (it could be the crate of tequila in the boot!) and I still have the recall outstanding.

Looks like a bigger cockup than just us lot… in answer to “where did Paul get his info?”:

“From the conference call with BMW to say the information showing on the screen was incorrect !

We had 7 cars affected by screens showing incorrect info.”

So, I’m going to (try to) chill out about it now & stop chasing, no point getting arsey, unless maybe with BMW UK in due course for their crap production information system. I’m away for 2 weeks now, hopefully it’ll be here when I get back!

They forgot to mention the Paul is upstairs on the bridge of the ship - hence he knows more than the rest of us combined.

I wonder if there's any merit in escalating to BMW UK as this is really tarnishing their brand and there's not a single word of an apology, compensation, good will etc

So chat doesn’t know they’re telling us bollocks, or at least that’s what Kaynat says.
