Yes same spec. Looks great in these pics! Less than 24 hours now (I’m trying really hard not to clock watch…)

Looks like we were right about it getting loaded on horizon highway.
I've got 500miles on mine now and loved every single mile. Brake squeal has gone after a bit of hard braking.
Got it detailed this week, it was the first m2 the valeter had done and he was impressed!

Yes indeed 😊 can’t wait. Currently driving my sons 1 litre polo as I got rid of my old car last week so it’s going to feel like a Formula 1 car by the time it arrives!

Your on the home stretch now I know I felt a lot more chill 😎 once I knew it had eventually made it onto the ship - you can enjoy ship 🚢 tracking now helps pass the time 🕰️ and you’ll know that it’s on track 👍
When I was holiday in Spain the ship past twice to Barcelona then back it was quite sureal knowing my car was aboard as ever so close lol

Should be collecting in the afternoon. It’s about 40 miles, but that does include the M25 so could include plenty of stationary time to play with iDrive 8

Hope you guys enjoying your cars! Is it true about the speed limit warning noise being active in UK cars? Anyone found a way of disabling it??

Yes it is true. I’m currently disabling it on every trip by holding the set button on the steering wheel. I haven’t seen a better solution yet, but if there is one please let me know. It’s easy to do whilst driving on the times I have forgotten before I set off.

As for the car I absolutely love it. Only at 250 miles at the moment so not pushed it above 5000 rpm, but looking forward to the next few weeks!

Anyone here had the running in service completed yet? I am on 1,000 miles and just been quoted £378. Is that normal - just seems higher than I was expecting?

Don't know about it being normal or not for your quote, but the supplying dealer of my car did the running-in service last month and cost me £299.

Thanks for the info. Not a million miles away from my quote. I am not using my supplying dealer, but that shouldn’t come into it. The next nearest dealer is less convenient for me so guessing I’ll just swallow the difference

I was unfortunately at Halliwell Jones and got charged about 470 with Bull shit disposal charges. Complained to BMW UK but got nowhere... they will not be getting any further business. They can sort warranty only as only 2 Miles away . I did shop around locally and all within about 70 quid. But lots more travel.

Thanks. I’ll stick with my current booking then. Sounds like it is about average, but like you it’s a convenient dealer for servicing, not someone I would buy a car from

Oooo what’s your plan ….. I’m just going to install carbon spoiler for now, as think car looks aggressive enough.
Just see the IG post from Motech with the Maxton gloss pieces on a T.R
