It's an option on the M3 and M4, but standard on the M2

Ready For Production: 09/16/23

Production Complete: 09/29/23

Ready For Transport: 10/03/23

Delivery: 11/03/23 (Taking delivery this Friday- I have been released from VPC)

Not a bad turn around. I was build week 39 and my local dealership had allocations ready. I also managed to get MSRP.

BSM- No carbon buckets (Everything else CF) 6MT - No port installs.

Iam week 47 too with Carbonpack. Iam still 112

No vin yet. I was originally a November build, got pushed to January, then back to December, and now back to November.

I've been unable create an account on here for essentially a year, not sure why... Finally can share my sad story. Shoutout Sethboii for keeping me sane until he eventually got his allocation lol:

7/2022 - Place deposit as first in line at dealer
4/2023 - Dealer receives HEA
8/2023 - Allocation received, week 38 Production
9/2023 - Production delayed to week 46 (carbon pkg I assume)
10/2023 - Scheduled for production (still week 46)

I'm sure a lot of you will think the dealership has lied, but given their size/volume and the area I am really not surprised it's taken this long. Wish me luck on getting this beauty into production!

You probably will see VIN about a week before the production date.

Just took a delivery of my 24’ ZB G87. Order placed on 27 June, so over all not a bad turnaround considering that the vehicle traveled all the way to Germany.

After driving it for the first ~15mi I can confirm that the car is absolutely incredible. It’s not even close to what my previous 22’ G42 was.

For those of you still waiting for your M2, hang in there, it’s definitely worth the wait! 🤙🏻

So this is what I see in My garage on BMW site as far as tracking my build. Does this mean it won't start until 2024 or won't be finished until then. it has entered the production que.

The "2024" is referring to the model year only, I believe. If it's in the queue (scheduled for production) it should be completed within 3-4 weeks. See https://g87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...84&postcount=1
