Break in for M-light?
Im a little confused here. Just hit a little over 1000 miles on the 24 m240i, and i just watched a video where the guy said break in service is only for pure M cars. Even if its not mandatory this seems like something I would still like to do to the car just for peace of mind, been babying the car. Can someone clarify?

No issues with changing oil at 1,000 miles or even before (on any car). You would have to pay out of pocket for it (the first oil change for the G42 M240 that BMW covers is at ~10k miles). The difference is the true M car get a run in/break in service at ~1,250 for free as part of included services. |
