Are either color wheel easier to powder coat?

I like the style of the stock wheel and don't mind their weight since this car is already plenty fast, but I prefer the look of a gunmetal finish.

Does one of the two stock options provide a better base for powder-coating than the other?

I'd assume black, but what the hell do I know.

Any other advice/warnings/admonitions about powder coating is appreciated! Thanks.

No, they completely strip the wheels prior to coating.

So then bi-color should be easier to strip?

Doesn't matter, you're going to get charged the same no matter what. Makes no difference with the end result.

I'm a big fan of powder coating, the finish is tough as nails and holds up way better than factory wheel paint.

Yeah... But how much weight does powder coating add?? I'm joking, but I could definitely see a few people debating it.
