I am trying to find where on iDrive to cancel or prevent Over The Air Updates, for the purposes of preventing my DME for being LOCKED after getting a Femto unlock.
I have tried to find the option as people describe but it doesn’t seem to be there. I am wondering if they removed it on 2024 m240 models.

I think you can opt out in the privacy settings. Change it to individual and untick the options relating to iDrive & OTAs. or just select all off.

You can in privacy settings. Make sure you are signed into your idrive profile or it will be greyed out.

There are many threads regarding this. It's in the privacy section on iD8/8.5 and in another area (its been a year and a half since I did mine and off the top of my head I forget the second section). You also need to turn it off in your BMW app.
