change of heart on e90
i don't know about you guys, but when the e90 came out, I HATED IT! I was anti e90 and talked shit left and right. I had my mind focused on an e46. About 8 months later I love the e90 and think it even looks better than that e46 M3 i loved so much. I think it is a beautiful car and superior to that m3 on the inside and outside. I guess what im trying to say is i love the styling now and that i ordered a jet black 330i 6mt sport package jetblack/black. I also ordered some HRE 841r's 20inch, an alpine dvd faceplate, some hamann eyelids, clear front reflectors, and blacklines! Im happy as hell and cant wait till it gets in. 8 months ago i would have hated myself

Congrats on your new purchase! E90 looks better to me than it did when I first got it and I still stare at it sometimes. But the E46 M3 is still a beautiful car if not one of the best by BMW..
I hope those 20's treat you well! Did you get ZPP or NAV?

the only thing i don't like about the e90 330 is... the front angled fender line. i prefer the horizontal line... like the rear bumper.
many cars are going to the angled front & rear seam... i just don't like it. it doesn't flow. |

I didn't like the e90 much either, but now I think it looks great on the outside. This interior is not much of an improvement in my mind at this time, but it may be once I see it enough. The exterior is much nicer now than the e46. Wow, I can't believe I said that.

I felt like that too BUT my love for the e46 M3 will never go away.
The e90 sedan is so much better then the e46 sedan which is so dated now...

I felt exactly the same way! I think this shows you the progressiveness of the design, in that it ages beautifully, I still think the E46 looks nice, even the E36 is still holding up well.

same here. I didn't even think about the ugly-ass E90.
I was going to buy a beautiful E46 m3, not this ugly E90. I bought my E90 thinking its ugly, and I still think its ugly. And I can tell ya, it'll still look ugly to me in the future. but oh, what a machine!

I didnt like the E46's when they first came out too, but now love the, especially the 330 M-Sport Packs...ditto with the E60 and the E90....most BMW designs only improve when they add the M-sport packages etc..

What a Car!
I thought the E90 was ugly too; then I bought one through Military Sales without even test driving it. Do I have any regrets? Heck no...this is the most awesome car I've ever driven. Pictures do not do it any justice..it is just amazing, and beautiful by the way...

I accepted the looks of the E90 from day 1 but the drive compared to the e46 323 is many rungs higher up the ladder. The N52 engine is superb. Everything about my car is superb.
Enjoy your cars everyone.

the 7 never grow on me up to this very day
the 5 has. omg e60.... the 3 ... I still think e46 Ci is the best but e90 has its distinct personalities from various angles.

I don't understand so much hate against 7s.
im not referring to you coreslogic, you are not hating it, its just not your cup of tea which I respect. but older AND new design of the 7, I really like 'em both.

I too was on the fence when the E90 first came out. One test drive erased any concerns.
Same with the 5er, regarding the looks. Like it alot more now. Too bad it still drives like a Buick if you don't get the ZSP. |

I remember parking my E46 next to one of the new E90s at my dealer last year and thinking that my car was way better and that I was done with BMWs....... well, a year later I own Alpine White E90 330i (PP, SP, NAV, SAT RAD, CW, STEP) and can't get over the feeling of how remarkable it looks

At first I didn't like it either but now when you look at an E46 side by side with an E90 the E46 looks dated. The M3 still looks pretty Amazing (espically the ZCP) but I am sure the next M3 will out do it too.
