Break in service/oil change on non S motor

I just purchased a 2025 M240i,
Wondering how beneficial it would be to just still do an initial oil change to flush out any impurities from the factory.
I know this is still customary on S engines, but I will be keeping the car for quite some time so I would like to do as much as I can to keep the engine running efficiently.
I also kept the RPM's under 5,000 + no hard acceleration for the first 1k miles.
It is widely known that the oil that is taken out after the first oil change has the most impurities and volatile compounds, might as well get rid of it as soon as possible.
Wondering what all of your thoughts on this is

Go to the Z4 forum. There is a great thread there on 1200 mi oil change of the B58. Probably more relevant and entertaining than the S58 opinions, since that engine does not really give you an option.

Short response is as long as the owners manual doesn't prohibit this change the oil early if you want.

My SOP over the years is to do an early oil/filter service at about 1/2 way through the break in. This means an oil/filter service at around 600 miles to 750 miles to 1K miles.

With my two 230s and one M2 I changed the oil at around 600 miles (1200 miles break in).

When I do an early oil/filter service I request the CBS system not be reset. These early oil/filter services are out of phase, so to speak, with the CBS system and are not free. Services alerted by the CBS system are free (the 1st 3 years/36K (Or 30K) miles. And they consist of more than just an oil/filter service.
