Time and driving stats voice readout

Does anyone know what triggers a slow female voice read out of the time, current trip miles, mpg, and other stats?

It’s really annoying and I can't figure out what is making it randomly read these stats out in voice over my music. The voice is super slow and it takes a good 30-45 seconds for it to complete. This had never happened in the past and now it is multiple times per trip. I haven't upgraded iDrive since November.

"It is now 3 pm, you have traveled 3 miles, xx mpg, average speed x."

That is weird, I’ve never had mine do that, not sure what would trigger it

Me either, I’ve had the car for around 1.5 years and this started out of no where
