Gloss black spoiler options

Was wondering if anyone has come across a solid gloss black rear spoiler? All I’ve seen is the Maxton (not the best look in my opinion). Any others out there I may be missing? I can’t seem to find much else that’s in stock.

60 Euros on AliExpress. No brainer, IF you can deal with not having Carbon Fiber or OEM parts on the car

How does it look against the black sapphire paint? Is it noticeable that the spoiler isn't a metallic shade?

Unless you're under floodlighting like in the last pic, it's not that noticeable. On the street, and from 10ft away, it just blends in.

Yeah, I'm not sure how else to describe it. I'm fine with the contrast between the BSM and the gloss black (we have it stock in the front with the bumper/center spoiler anyways). But from 10ft away, you'd be hard pressed telling the difference.

I used a rubber wheel attachment on my drill to remove the excess adhesive. That, along with some goo gone should have you set. Don't forget to use 3M Adhesive promoter prior to mounting the new spoiler.

AutoID has gloss black "aggressive" and smaller "cs" versions available for the G87 - I think on pages 4 and 5 on the G87 website. Same shapes as the carbon fiber spoilers.

Got it installed. Overall not bad install. Still a tiny gap in the middle where it doesn’t form 100% to the body line of the trunk but from more then a foot away you can’t tell. Overall happy with the product and looks so much better

I am not trying to dissuade you from going gloss black (I tried when I had my supra) but know the options moving forward will be far more limited than the carbon route. I like gloss black accents on cars and you can always get away with wrapping a piece of gloss black vinyl but the normal options (if anything like the supra which I expect they will be) will be limited.

Makes sense and agree. Personally, I want to avoid CF. Not only am I tired of it aestheticly, I feel like it's high maintenance unless you throw ppf on it. I've had just as bad luck with high end vendors vs. cheap eBay versions, ripping everything off and installing again after 2-3yrs has gotten really annoying. I'm sure the black versions are no different. I may just stick to the stock look.

How has this held up for you? I don’t mind paying more for a perfect fitment and higher quality, but this looks excellent and OEM from the pics.

Looks nice. Would prefer if it ran a bit closer to the edge of the trunk, as that is a big gap on the sides.

Do you have a close up pic of that? I can’t see it from the above shots

I was referring to OP photos not sure if the other one is the same. If you look at OP you can see gap in bottom photo. Again, looks nice and great value for sure.

I'm really interested in a little bigger spoiler and am thinking about the one you posted or this one:

https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-2...fiber-spoiler/

Does anyone have any experience with either? Given that as far as I know Turner is pretty reputable, I would think they should be more than decent.

If you want a little bigger, the ID-01 is a great spoiler.
