I have the Factory HAS kit from BMW and I am thinking about the following:

Front:
19x10 ET12
285/30-19

Rear:
20x11 ET18
305/30-20

Do you think I will have any clearance issues?

Nope, that shorter front tire will improve inner clearance and clearance when turning significantly compared to the 285/35-19.

You'll give up a bit of ride comfort with the shorter sidewall, but that'll be a marginal difference.

"Thank you for reaching out, we're happy to address your concerns. We did implement a price change to our forged wheels on November 10th. As a BMW M2 owner, we completely understand the optics from your perspective (price increases are never fun) and we want to shed light on the bigger picture.

"As economic conditions continue to inflate, pricing is often forced to go with it. However, only a fraction of our wheel catalog was affected by recent pricing changes, in fact more markets experienced a price reduction than a price increase which means that many enthusiasts will actually benefit from the changes made. Additionally, pricing on approximately 40% of our forged catalog stayed exactly the same. There are many contributing factors that go into these decisions, but I can say with confidence that our Production and Engineering teams work very hard to find efficiencies that maintain our quality standards and pursuit of true performance, and that has really helped offset rising costs within the industry."

I don't think its fair for you to complain about the price increase. Apex wheels are still very well priced for what they are. You are getting track worthy wheels with a ton of R&D that go into each specific application. Lifetime warranty and 50% replacement for damage wheel.

Plus they are enthusiasts as well.

What forged set of wheels can you get a better price?

Lets agree to disagree. They still got my money regardless. My point is simple. It looked very poor from an outside perspective just days before their "biggest" sale.

i'm not the only one that noticed i may have been the one that was most vocal about it.

There are plenty of other companies i could have gone with easy... they also weren't the cheapest forged wheels go with either...

OE tires. The guys at the shop didn't take off my spacers so the wheels right now are sitting way too aggressive. I'm going to fix that tomorrow lol.

That's with spacers?! What spacers are you running? I was hoping for flush with no spacers.

15mm front
12 mm rear
Pokes way too much out of the body. I'm sure once I get these removed, everything will sit flush. I mean, it looks cool just sitting here but there's no way I'm driving like this lol.

After 7 track days in my M2 here is the count:

# of people saying, "Wow- is that the new M2?": 15
# of people saying, "Wow- are those the new Apex Wheels?": 24

Also GT3M2 I need to update my experience- With 19x10.5" and 295/30/19 Nankang CRS tires I was reporting no rubbing (without spacers). However, I have seen that I have signs of rubbing on my struts. This is happening due to sidewall flex on hard cornering. I will be adding 5mm spacers up front.

Attached a few images of the wheels without any spacers. As you can see, the wheels normally sit flush with the body of the car. Again this is lowered on KW H.A.S. about an inch. I've got a few mm to go lower if I want. So fear not, the wheels sit perfect with this setup. You can of course go a little more aggressive with a small spacer but I don't think it's necessary.

If you don’t mind me asking, do you have a HAS kit or coilivers? If so, which ones?

I have KW HAS but I am changing it out for MCS coilovers soon.

Fairly disappointed with the Black Friday “sale” this year. Still interested in the VS-5RS, but going to wait to see what happens in the spring with pricing. Otherwise might look to see what other wheel manufacturers are doing.

ok ya got me

While not quite happy with the hike right before "black friday" i mentioned previously.. You still got me. The wheels are great I do wish you offered a 6 Spoke style design.

These are extremely light and look amazing fast shipping and everything looked to be packaged nicely.

Now if the car would just show up so i can get yall some pictures of a G87 with satin bronze

Thanks for picking up a set regardless! Satin Bronze is a great choice, it's one of my favorites from the forged lines when you're in a room full of the wheels. admittedly that isn't the same as how they look on car, but it's a great finish.

Is anyone running spacers with the Apex wheels? If so, how much in the front and rear, and which brand?

I'd like a little bit more poke, so thinking 5-7mm in the front, 10mm in the rear.

It's probably best to specify the diameter, widths and offsets of what you're looking for as we have a number of different options that will sit in different places with or without spacers. This car for example is running 12mm spacers in the rear with our 19x10 ET12 wheels front and rear: https://apexwheels.com/gallery/bmw/m...tin-black-1618

Any of the fitments in our gallery have spacer notes added when I have the information as well.

Sorry should've specified. 19x10 ET12 front and 20x11 ET18 rear. It's also lowered on H&R springs (supposedly 1.2 inch drop in the front, 0.75 in the rear), so the top of the wheel seems tucked in a bit.

Do the 20x11 with 305 ruin the fun? Seems like a lot of tire.

It’s a bit late for me I already ordered them but woke up this morning thinking dam will I still be able to get a wiggle on?
