B58TU MHD Log Analysis
Hi everyone,
i recently got my dme unlocked by femto and afterwards flashed a ots mhd map + xhp. Currently im running MHD Stage 1 (98RON) with 100RON fuel and xhp Stage 2. When doing a wot pull, I often get up to -3 degrees timing correction on a few cylinders. The car is a 23' M240i G42 with around 20000km and on its first set of spark plugs and ignition coils. I also got a high flow air filter mat and a bigger turbo inlet installed. Should i change the spark plugs or the coils to get no corrections? Or what else can i do? Logs: https://datazap.me/u/alxvlkr/b58tu-r...?log=0&data=13 (two charts) https://datazap.me/u/alxvlkr/b58tu-r...0?log=0&data=8 (one chart, made earlier with less parameters) https://datazap.me/u/alxvlkr/b58tu-r...2?log=0&data=8 (one chart, made earlier with less parameters) Best regards, Alex |

Unfortunately e85 isn't available in germany.
I went for 102RON gas and the corrections are almost completely gone on the 98RON map. But when trying the 102RON map... ohhh hell no, -4,5 degree and more on all cylinders. I guess i need to order a eca as well and mix my own ethanol blend. |

So basically your gas sucks. Either need to keep the octane up, change your tune to use a lower octane, or get a tune that is a bit more mild.
Could always try a different gas station. Also keep in mind that even the stock tune will have some timing corrections. |
