US CS allocation

How many of you are on the list for the upcoming CS allocation? While getting service done on my X7, was speaking with the SA, he said I will need a miracle to get an allocation for CS. I asked how many, he said “48”, I asked again for CS, he replied yes for CS. He said most likely they will get 3-4 allocation if that. This a high volume dealer in central FL. So I reached out to another dealer in NOVA, (previous client) he said they are taking deposit $25K over MSRP, already got 5 in line.

That is absolutely ridiculous. But then again you guys voted for DeSantis.

Ouch.... But true, on both. At first I thought I'd go for a CS, but once I realized with a quick tune I'd get the same results so Im going all out my OG g87.

Dealership is talking out of their ass. Why would you even bother putting a deposit down on a car that doesn’t actually exist? You’re letting them make money for free off your deposit.

In reality most dealerships will only get 1 allocation. They just lie to get your deposit money.

I'm on two waiting lists for the G87 at local dealers. The deposit documentation on one says "2023/2024 BMW M2 Competition" so I guess I'm getting one? It's in writing so I'm good.

Well, we know there is no MY23 M2 Comp and not sure there will be a MY24 M2 Comp, either...yup, definitely all good.

Checked the document again for exact wording. It says "DEPOSIT FOR 2024 M2 COMP". After getting the car I should bring it back in with the document printed and demand answers.....

Added my name to the CS list over a year ago. First on the list, but hearing rumors that the CS will be auto only, which is not my cup of tea.

Added my name to the M3CS 2 years ago and was told first as well. And actually got the call, but turned it down.

I am not a VIP customer my any means, but this dealer really goes by the list, which is refreshing.
