Hi all,

New to the forum, but long time lurker! Recently just took ownership of a G87 M2 and ordered Yellow DRLs and a Carbon Spoiler. Are there any recommendations of a shop that can install these for me? I sure as *** don’t trust myself nor would I even attempt.

They quoted me $540 for the install.

Performance Technic in Fremont quoted me $682.

Elite Performance in Burlingame is looking good right now ($360 quote).

I recommend Performance Dynamic in Mountain View. Owned by a former BMW tech and they have done a lot of work on my 135i.

My G87 and other cars go to Elite for mainly track prep work for years. They've worked on various G8X cars too.

Can’t go wrong with Elite Performance. Also check out TrackSpec in Fremont. They work on a lot of German cars and I’ve taken my Porsche to them and they did a fantastic job. Just watch out for their coffee table, it’s basically invisible and will ruin your knees.

Am now looking to get my Valvetronic Exhaust installed.

He quoted me $560 for that which seems high. SV Bimmer quoted me $360. Should I check TrackSped for the exhaust install?

Doesn’t hurt to shop around. I know Gary does like to overquote on exhaust installs because sometimes it takes longer especially when cutting is required. When he did my Focus ST exhaust install he quoted me 400 but ended up only charging me 250 because it went quicker than he thought.
