Here is my review of my G87 Manual ownership.

It’s my 5th BMW and 3rd M car , all i can say is that the interior and overall built quality has significantly improved if i compare it to my F80 M3. Chassis and suspension wise this new G87 is very well-balanced and feels solid on the road, brakes are awesome too.

Now engine wise i had this engine with the ZF previously in my X3M Competition.
Can’t deny that you extract more power with the ZF… But fun-wise the manual is where it’s at if you're not looking for a track car or drag setup… For daily use or weekend car in the street manual is the way to go IMO.

On the technological side i really enjoy the new ID8, the layout on the screen looks fantastic. My only concern is the climate control it’s really bugging me to always have to play on the screen when i want to adjust different climate settings but i’d have to say the climate menu is really clear and easy to play with.

1300 km on it and so far so good ! Really enjoy highway pulls with the manual. This new M2 is fast !! This car with that specific color is a real neck breaker, i didn't think about that when i placed my order, people go crazy for it taking pictures, and they come and talk to me everywhere i park my car, also received many compliments for the color. It's really getting that super car impression.

Looking forward to do the break-in service and start to add a couple of modifications. I'm planning a single mid pipe, air intakes, lowering kit, and spacers. Otherwise, i already installed my first modification which is the M Performance armrest in alcantara, i recommend it especially if you have a manual it’s comfortable.

Here is my spec for those asking :

ZPP - Premium Package-23(M2)
2MA - 6 Speed Manual Transmission
3M5 - M Compound Brakes, Red
3MF - Shadowline headlights
40C - M Carbon Roof
4GQ - M seat belts
4MC - Carbon fiber trim
6NX - Wireless Device Charging
7M9 - Black exterior content
C6E - Zandvoort Blue
MAMM - Black Vernasca Leather w/ M Highlight

I will update once the break-in period is over.

Good writeup, plus some of the best pictures I've ever seen of a ZB G87

Well done, nice photos!

Car is a blast! I just finished Sky Line Drive and Blue Ridge Parkway, and bunch of other back roads along the way.

I am sore! Car handled everything with aplomb.

Awesome photos. Your pics actually look like the car, when I take photos it doesn’t look like it at all! :P

Thank you for sharing!
