So recently I took off the head to clean the valves because they were so dunked up that the valves weren’t sealing anymore. So I Lapped them and put everything back with new gaskets, head bolts, ect. But after around 600 miles I started to hear a small tapping noise when I’d be light on the pedal and when I step on it it goes away but comes back at around the mid range.
It still pulls like hell and no performance loss what so every

It does do it when I hit the clutch and rev it
It does get fast with rpms 2k-4k
I’ve tried turning off each cylinders coil or injector
I’ve replaced the lifters
It 100% sounds like on top of the engine around 3rd and 4th cylander
But it shows no evidence off wear

Should I replace the rollers next ?
Could it be the injector decoupler?

Check your logs and see if you're leaking somewhere.

If you mangled a decoupler you'll have a vac leak. You'll see bank to bank trim variance.

Didnt see anything alarming in that brief set. Lots of variability. Could be a vac leak bank 1 but it's basically within limits and dme is compensating.

Boost leak and tapping sound. Are your waste gates rattling?
