Wow! The USA got screwed. It's ok to draw Germany because then you're probably playing for 2nd. But, then drawing Portugal??! Shit!

Would have to agree. Especially, if Suarez is still on form like last weekend! I actually don't think England make it through. I think it will be Italy and Uruguay and wouldn't be surprised if Uruguay won the group.

If you wanna sit at the big table, you gotta earn your seat. It's fair to assume Germany will win the group. But the US has the same chance at second as Ghana and Portugal. Go earn it on the field!

The US has the same chance at second as Ghana and Portugal? How's that? The gap between 2-3 in this group is in this group IMO. The gap between 3-4 is much closer.

I would not be surprised at all if the US goes 0-3. I would not put any money at all on the US advancing to the knockout stage.

I can't believe that's there are some people out there who actually give the US a chance. I also think they are going to get blown out.

Go team Argentina (although our chances aren't that great either in terms of taking it all).

Bah, you don't see Iran in that group? Messi and rest of the guys should be scared! ))
Those French are damn lucky. It's like that group is handpicked. Couldn't have become any better for them.

My predictions:
Group A: Brazil - Croatia
Group B: Spain - Netherlands
Group C: Japan - Colombia
Group D: Italy - Uruguay
Group E: France - Swiss
Group F: Argentina - Bosnia
Group G: Germany - Portugal
Group H: Belgium - Russia

You Americans think you got a hard group! Try being an Aussie with the current world champion and runner up from last world cup in our group. Also got Chile who beat England at Wembley a couple of weeks back. We are about 100,000 to 1 to make it out of the group stages.

No offense my Aussie friend, but they're not very good.

I'm going for quarters and afterwards. A lot of Polish people i know tried to talk me out of going to Poland for Euro 2012 but it turned out to be a great vacation. Brazilians spent some coins to get this world cup going, i' m sure there won't be any problems. (unless people there go nuts and try to overthrow their government and hang the tourists)

Brazil - Germany

Also don't lose your faith in your national team, last time they weren't playing that great but they made it to the final.

Yeah thanks Robin. Would love to beat you but never gonna happen. Actually hope the Oranje do well always like watching you play especially your supporters .

Unfortunately can't see a European team winning down there. Good luck.

England? I don't think they even make it out of group play. Keepers are a problem. Hart looks terrible right now. The defense is old and slow.

You do realize that the Dutch won every single game in the qualifiers, except for one draw don't you?

Here's their 2013 results. Not very impressive. NONE of their qualifying wins were against teams that made the WC and their weren't very good in the friendlies. Also, you can't underestimate the South American teams in Brazil. That's why I have all of them going through. Chile are strong squad and the Dutch are aging.

Sorry, but i think that finish at group G will be the same as at picture:
1. Germany
2. Portugal
3. Ghana
4. USA
anyway there is no chance for USA to finish at 2nd place...

Portugal does well in the Euros, not the WC! This is not their tuff, expect Ghana to sneak in. US has a splendid coach but I doubt the players are up there.

I expect Belgium to surprise - they are well-rounded with quality players across the pitch. And Chile with Suarez but they play a one-touch passing game that's refreshing to watch.

Brazil are not very good anymore and together with France got very lucky draws which will work in their favor. From there expect home advantage to propel Brazil all the way to the final but France who knows, they might run into Italy or Germany along the way.
