MAP Sensor Connector? (MY2008)

Hi guys, I'm wondering if any of you know where to source the connector for the MAP sensor on top of the intake manifold. It's the old style connector found on all the N54 models. I need one for a project I'm working on

I found the following numbers on the connector from my 2008 535
7-519-546
842-440-502

The first one looks like a BMW part number, but it doesn't show up anywhere. Second number is probably from the manufacturer, but I don't know who that is. RealOEM shows a part number, but I ordered it and got a completely different sensor back. Looks like BMW mislabeled it.

I know the connector exists out there -- JB4 and other piggyback tunes have such connectors. I just don't know where to get the connector by itself

BMS might sell one to you, they obviously source them for the JB4

No luck with BMS

For whatever it's worth, I sort of found something that might work okay. Part number 12527549033 is what bmw has listed for that sensor and looks like this:

However if you separate the blue and black pieces, you get this

The blue piece is almost identical to the map connector. Main difference is that the raised piece of plastic that locks it in is not there. So I'm going to have to hope the friction of the pins keeps it in place. Okay for testing, long term I'll probably need a better solution.

If anyone else knows where to source the right connector I'd appreciate any help you can provide. Otherwise this will have to do

Well I found the right part number. Just posting the info here in case someone else searches in the future

Part number is 12527513331

This connector will work with either the MAP or TMAP since it's not keyed.

Great connector info, what about the wire gauge?

Thanks for the info Terraphantm, I also have need for this plug, but more so the terminals and grommets, but your information really helped.

I am wondering if you can recall what gauge the wire was the goes into this connector? Was it about 21 gauge?

Thanks Anthony
