Brand new E92 328i, how much today?

Hi forum,

My local BMW dealer has a new E92 328i (with M sport and premium pkg). It's a 2013 model year car, so it was probably made and delivered in 2012.

Seeing how it's been sat on the dealer lot for probably a long time now(tbh I was surprised I could still find new e92's), I'm thinking of taking advantage of this and get an aggresive deal.

I'm just wondering if you guys could give me a ballpark on how much I should pay for this and whether it's still a good purchase?

I personally prefer the hydraulic power steering and NA6 engine, so to me this is a pretty good car.

First of all, you should bring up the fact that since it's been sitting there for so long, it's actually bad for the engine...demands for a discount

My e92 328i production date is May and according to my dealer May was the last production month for e9x. I got it the second day it hit the dealership at the end of June 2013.
Is it a still good deal? I test drove the F30 two variants, both 4 and 6 cyl turbo. The 4 was a sport line 6 speed but did not feel right, felt bigger than it actually was and the steering felt artificial in sportiest setting (did not try other settings). The 6 was an auto and driving in sport manual seemed complicated and too much work. Felt nose heavy and steering actually seemed better but still far off the target. Than came my e92, wrapped in white tape, dealer' only e92. The moment got in I felt this is the one. It did not feel like the older model in cremlin red, bamboo finish and cream interior. Than when I fired her up, I was certain we were leaving the lot together that day. Don't know what happened, test drove e90 328 stick years earlier and e92 335i auto more recently but at those times seemed the e90 felt slow, and e92 way overpriced and not as fast as expected. Needless to say, the urgency to get the 6 cylinder kicked in based on very pleasant note, satisfying power and great feel inside the car and of the road. I test drove her in sport manual and have been driving in that mode ever since. The auto does well in long traffic too. Good luck! people take great things for granted, am very pleased the first 10k miles...

Mine is a sport suspension too, considering it's a year old now and am assuming got some miles on it from test drives I wouldn't pay over $36K OTD.

If you can get a brand new 2013 Coupe for $36K OTD that would be a steal.

GREAT deal. Was that OTD or before tax? Now add the incremental cost of the E92. Like I said if you can get a new e92 for $36K, pay and drive off the lot before they change their mind.
