2008 335I Canada Warranty?
When I do a little bit of spirited driving with my 335i I noticed that when it hits 5th gear it gives a kick, like the car doesnt wanna go in gear (its an auto).
A yellow light came on for transmission malfunction but when i restarted my car it was fine, except when i hit the gas and i go to 5th gear again. Im pretty sure my transmission is giving out on me. Do I still have power train warranty or am i shit out of luck? |

The maximum warranty period is 7 years and that is if the previous owner (assuming you are not the first owner) purchased the extended warranty which can be extended to 3 more years max ( plus the 4 that come with the car). Not a lot of people purchased this warranty as it is closed to 3500$ If you bought your car used at a pre owned bmw dealer then they do have an extra 2 years I believe. Otherwise you are out of luck |
