Have you seen the first one? It's one of those movies that is SO dumb that it's funny.
In 94, times were simpler and Carey was on a roll.

If you saw the preview and didn't at least laugh once, maybe the movie "Good Boy" is more in line since it's canine themed

The dude is a "Comedian Wizard!"

There are a couple of his many films that were meh but overall he is VERY hilarious! Very few can combine a physical sense of humor combined with verbal humor as well as this guy.

I’m a big fan of Jim Carey. Before his father passed away he wrote himself a check for $10,000.000.00 dollars and would carry it in his wallet. He told his father that one day he would be able to cash that check. After filming Ace Ventura Pet Detective he buried his father with that check, and a note that read: I did it dad.
