BMW 4 series Alloys on a E90 ?

Here's a standard 4 series M Sport 400M style alloy which comes standard on the coupe :

Standard Front tyres 225/45/18 - 18x8" ET34

Standard Rear tyres 255/40/18 - 18x8.5" ET47

Will these fit on a E90 M Sport saloon without any issues ? Currently running standard 18" MV3's.

IMO putting new model alloys on old models looks shit. They are just not designed for the older cars.

Seen loads of E46's with 193's. It just looks stupid. Nothing about them goes with the car.

I'm not a fan of new style wheels on a last generation car. I don't think it ever looks right. Just my opinion

I see where your coming from but I'll see how it looks. The offer of a virtually brand new set of alloys and Bridgestone tyres were hard to resist. I was going to refurb my alloys, buy new centre caps/M Sport emblems (for the alloys) and my 2 rear tyres will need replacing soon so it just made sense

Well new alloys have landed

Made a boob as the Alloys are in fact 441M style not 400M as I first thought as they really look similar (although these in fact look better). Specs are the same though as the 400M.

Alloys as new condition with as new tyres. Few more pics below but I think they look smaller on the car as the tyres have a slightly higher height profile than the MV3's.

Just tried that one wheel for fitment as I'm not planning to put the wheels on yet until I've had some paintwork done to the front (looking to repaint the front bumper and possibly the bonnet due to age related marks/stonechips etc). Once the it's out of the bodyshop I'll post up some more pics from a distance.

I respectfully disagree. I've seen plenty of E46's rocking style 162's and looking damn good, too:
