I think I have narrowed my choice to THE car

Man, I've been having a tough time with this. I'm determined to pay less than $40k for my next car and here's what I've come up with:

Euro Delivery
335i coupe
Jet Black
Black Leatherette
Gray Poplar trim
Manual trans.
Cold Weather Package
Comfort Access

Think I will be happy with this car? Anything I'm missing that's a must-have accessory or package? The only question I have is maybe going with a 335xi, but I have yet to drive one. Is the only way to get the oil intercooler with the sport package or are they changing that?

I travel to Europe on business two or three times a year so the airfare is paid for, only costs would be for a cheap hotel, food and good German beer.

Lucky!

I would take out Cold Weather and just get Heated Seats instead. I would get ipod/aux connection too. Unless you're dying to have the ski bag and headlight washers.

Can you get the sports package and the 'ette interiror? Is there such a thing as 'ette sport seats? What other advantages are there to the sport package? I don't care about wheels because I will likely buy aftermarket. The BMW web site says with the sport seats that optional premium package or power seats are required. I don't care about power seats and I don't want the full premium package. I know about the top-speed limiter but that's a non-issue, I don't need to drive 155 mph. Does the sport package have different suspension components?

And what about that oil intercooler?

I need the ski pass-through and the split-fold seats are handy.

You get that without cold weather package. Cold weather is heated seats, ski bag, and headlight washers, nothing else. So your seats will fold regardless and you will have the pass through.

You can't build the BMW on bmwusa with just the seats. However your CA can order just the seats I believe. Without the full package. The sport package does however provide a different suspension.

i think your choices look good... i have a jet black with beige leatherette... the 'ette interior is very comfortable and i am impressed with the quality of the material. the only thing i didnt get that i sometimes wished i had was sports package but you dont get the sports suspension on the xi models by ordering the sports pack so i thought it wasnt worth while.

Hmm, so maybe I don't need the ski bag if the folding seats are standard. Would just mean I could bring only two people with skis/snowboards, which is fine. I actually don't want the dumb headlight washers.
