What Should I Be Doing for My E92?
I own a 2010 e92 335i 6MT.
I have 26,000 miles and am the original owner having done all scheduled maintenance. My only mod is a Dinan stage 2 tune and otherwise stock. What preventative/needed things should I be doing to keep it running well? |

Continue oil changes. At 45k do a walnut shell blasting and tranny fluid change along with the 45k service plugs etc. Also I'd recomend getting a clutch delay valve from bms. Made a worlds difference for me.

All good man. Just keep up what you're doing and you'll be fine. I follow all the maintenance plan and at 173K miles, my car is running solid.

A friend of a friend of mine has an 07 335i and has put 50k on it in the last 4 years and has had zero problems. Just oil changes and standard maintenance. The 335i is a reliable car if you maintain and treat it well... just like most other cars.

This is less of a financial decision and more of just a question of how to keep the car running well. Even if I had to sell for scrap, I'd be fine. I own the car with clear title. Stop spamming my thread now unless you have other advice. I appreciate what you've said, but I get your position now. |

Has your windshield fluid pump given you any problems? That's the only thing I need to fix at this point. |

Frequent oil changes are the best way to take care of the engine. I always do oil changes much sooner than the manufacturer calls for. I always ask the mechanic to inspect the engine for any loose hoses, belts, etc. Preventative maintenance.
