What Should I Be Doing for My E92?

I own a 2010 e92 335i 6MT.

I have 26,000 miles and am the original owner having done all scheduled maintenance.

My only mod is a Dinan stage 2 tune and otherwise stock.

What preventative/needed things should I be doing to keep it running well?

Continue oil changes. At 45k do a walnut shell blasting and tranny fluid change along with the 45k service plugs etc. Also I'd recomend getting a clutch delay valve from bms. Made a worlds difference for me.

Just wanted some other tips besides the regular maintenance recommended by BMW.

I am obviously a low mileage driver and thought my situation might necessitate other service items.

Car is paid for and has 26k miles. I see plenty of e92s with many many more miles. Why would I get a new car now?

ok remember what I told you today and don't forget. You will regret keeping the car after you spend all your money

All good man. Just keep up what you're doing and you'll be fine. I follow all the maintenance plan and at 173K miles, my car is running solid.

A friend of a friend of mine has an 07 335i and has put 50k on it in the last 4 years and has had zero problems. Just oil changes and standard maintenance. The 335i is a reliable car if you maintain and treat it well... just like most other cars.

A few expensive repairs aren't going to bankrupt me, lol.

This is less of a financial decision and more of just a question of how to keep the car running well. Even if I had to sell for scrap, I'd be fine. I own the car with clear title.

Stop spamming my thread now unless you have other advice. I appreciate what you've said, but I get your position now.

Nice...one of the higher mileage cars I've heard about.

Has your windshield fluid pump given you any problems? That's the only thing I need to fix at this point.

Frequent oil changes are the best way to take care of the engine. I always do oil changes much sooner than the manufacturer calls for. I always ask the mechanic to inspect the engine for any loose hoses, belts, etc. Preventative maintenance.
